Volume
Also known as: Trading Volume, 24h Volume
The amount of an asset traded in a given period. Confirms or invalidates price moves.
Core rules
- Rising price + rising volume → healthy trend.
- Rising price + falling volume → weakening move, beware.
- Breakout on spike volume → more likely to hold.
- Breakout on thin volume → likely fake-out.
