Is extreme greed a sell signal?
It's a caution signal. Tops usually form during extreme greed, but greed can persist for weeks. Use it as context, not a timing tool.
Is extreme fear a buy signal?
Historically, accumulation zones below 20 have been strong medium-term entries. But fear can get more extreme before reversing — don't go all in on a single data point.
